🌳 18 Summers – Why We’re Soaking It All In (And How You Can Too)

☀️Summer’s Off to the Races!

Hey Our Campfire Unplugged Friends!

We always imagine summer as this slow, unplugged season—but wow, it’s starting off like Maycember 2.0!

Over Memorial Day, we kicked off our summer travels with a trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. One of the best parts? Biking the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail on eBikes! (Yes, we made a video. Check it out here.) 🚴‍♂️⚡

On the drive home, Sara casually mentioned she and Madeline have 3 college tours before our big summer trip. Meanwhile, Jack’s summer is packed with wrestling, tutoring, and more. Cue the “how did we get here so fast?” moment.

There’s a popular quote floating around—“You only get 18 summers with your kids.” And it’s true. That’s why we’re making time to soak in the sunshine, take deep breaths, and spend as many days as we can outdoors—even if it’s just hanging around the campground.
RVing gives you the space to slow down without feeling stuck.

So how do YOU plan to make this summer count?

🔧 Starlink: Oops, Our Account Was Frozen!

Remember how we said we were lowering our Starlink bill? That turned into a small saga.

While digging into some budgeting tips from Ramit Sethi’s “I Will Teach You to Be Rich” (📚 link here), I realized we hadn’t been charged in months… because I mistyped the original Starlink email login! 🤦‍♂️ My credit card expired in October, and with the wrong email, we had no clue the account was suspended.

Thankfully, Starlink support finally called us back last Thursday night—just in time for our trip. (Whew!) If you're curious, we added the update to our Starlink for RVers post here.
